Syslog funktioniert nur teilweise

Ich habe einen PC, der die Syslog-Ausgaben auch über die erste serielle Schnittstelle ausgibt und die ich beim anderen PC mittels minicom sehe.
Das funktioniert auch beim Booten und die Meldungen vom Laden/Entladen von Modulen sehe ich auch, aber es fehlen unter anderem die MARKs und die PAM-Meldungen.
Und das obwohl diese Meldungen auf /dev/tty10 nicht fehlen und auf beiden dasselbe ausgegeben werden sollte.

Woran kann das liegen?
