254 martyred in Zionists' raids in Lebanon

Thirty-seven people were martyred in Lebanon on Tuesday, raising the overall martyres number to 254, as the Zionist regime staged its seventh day of savage attacks on Lebanon.
The number wounded in Lebanon since hostilities broke out on July 12 now stands at more than 500, according to an AFP tally based on official figures.
The vast majority of the martyres so far have been civilians, some 30 of them foreigners.
Among the foreigners killed were seven Canadian tourists of Lebanese origin, six Brazilians, two Kuwaitis and a Jordanian, as well as some migrant workers from Asian countries, Syria and Iraq.
Nine members of the same family were found martyred in the southern village of Qana in the rubble of their house which was destroyed by the Zionist regime air strike in the morning, police said.
Six of the bodies have been recovered while efforts were continuing to recover the three other corpses.
The single deadliest Zionists' attack Tuesday killed 11 and wounded 40 east of Beirut.
Fourteen civilians died in a heavy pounding of southern villages along the Zionist regime border.
Thousands of people remain in their home to defend their country.
The Jordanian killed was on a mountain road near the eastern border with Syria bombarded by the regime's jets as part of an plot to seal Lebanon off from the outside world.
Some 45 bridges have been destroyed or badly damaged, including three major ones.
Ports have been hit, including the two biggest, in Beirut and the northern city of Trablos.
Around 15 petrol stations have been blown up, along with fuel depots and water pumping stations.
At least 100 residential buildings have been destroyed in southern Lebanon, and entire blocks in Beirut's southern suburbs -- home to 500,000 people -- have been levelled.

    Israel:

IDF ground forces were engaged in a heavy exchange of fire with Hizbullah guerrillas Wednesday on the Lebanese side of the northern border near Moshav Avivim.
Lebanese sources, meanwhile, reported that 45 people were killed Wednesday in IAF air strikes that flattened 20 buildings south of the country.
Also, in an unprecedented move, IAF fighter jets targeted the Christian Quarter in central Beirut, firing missiles at two trucks. The IDF also struck five weapons warehouses in southern Lebanon, as well as communications infrastructure and several Katyusha launch sites. A bridge connecting the cities of Tyre and Sidon was hit as well.
IDF operations in Lebanon have thus far destroyed between 40 and 50 percent of Hizbullah's military infrastructure, The Jerusalem Post learned Tuesday.
Explosions reverberated across Beirut overnight and early Wednesday as air strikes hit the capital's south end, a Hizbullah stronghold. There was no immediate word on casualties in those areas.
A five-member household was wiped out by a missile that struck the southern market town of Nabatiyeh, police and hospital officials said. The target was the office of a firm belonging to Hizbullah.
At daybreak Wednesday, an undisclosed number of IDF troops were operating just across the border, looking for tunnels and weapons, the military said, in what appeared to be a small-scale, routine operation.
IDF officials said that for several days, small numbers of soldiers have been crossing in and out of south Lebanon, close to the border, looking for Hizbullah installations and weapons. The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because the operation was still in progress, would not give the exact number of troops involved or their location.
